Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire in a commercial building in Signal Hall early Thursday.
Los Angeles firefighters arrived at the East 28th Street building about 5:30 a.m., according to ABC7.com.
The fire created smoke that could be seen for miles as crews battled the fire.
Officials told NBC Los Angeles that the building was occupied by a heating and cooling parts business.
