FORT WORTH — A fire destroyed a large vacant nursing home late Tuesday in east Fort Worth, but no injuries were reported.

Firefighters remained on the scene Wednesday morning to extinguish hot spots.

The blaze was reported shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of S. Beach St.

Fire officials had not released any information on a cause of the blaze.
