Chicago Structure Fire Threatens Adjacent Homes

Nov. 19, 2021
Chicago firefighters battled a well-involved attic fire in a 2.5-story occupancy that threatened adjacent structures on Thursday night.

Chicago firefighters battled a structure fire on the 2700 block of Augusta Boulevard on Thursday evening.

As fire companies arrived, they advanced multiple lines to control the fire and prevent extension to the adjacent structures that were very close to the fire building.

Firefighters needed to open up the structure to gain access to the flames before bringing them under control. Searches preformed by interior crews reported the building clear of any victims.

No injuries were reported.
