An explosion in a vacant Toledo home left one person injured and cause extensive damage Monday evening.
The explosion happened around 7:00 p.m. on the 1600 block of Western Avenue, according to a Tweet by Toledo Fire and Rescue.
According to fire officials, one adult was transported with minor injuries and two others were evaluated and released with no injuries.
Interim Fire Chief John Kaminski told WTOL 11, "The house that did explode is a vacant structure. As we peel it away, we will make sure that it wasn't somebody that was staying in there, in the vacant structure; we'll make sure we do that."
