Two Akron firefighters were injured early Monday when a house exploded.

Both are expected to be OK.

WKYC Channel 3 shared raw video from the scene.

As they walked into the house, it exploded, WOIO reported. 

No one was inside the home when the blast occurred. 

"It could have been a lot worse, for sure. You see the damage to the house right now, so you see things could have been a lot worse, but fortunately, they weren't, " AFD Lt. Tim Morrison told reporters. 

The gas company is assisting as firefighters remain at the scene.
