Portland Fire and Rescue firefighters rescued a woman from a three-story home during a two-alarm fire early Thursday morning.

When firefighters arrived, they found the woman on the roof of the burning home. Crews laddered the home and brought the woman down to safety.

The female rescued by firefighters was transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with minor injuries, KOIN 6 reported.

Firefighters battled heavy fire conditions that spread throughout the home and consumed the attic before breaking through the roof.

Searches conducted by the firefighters did not locate any additional occupants.
