Three Beaver Dam firefighters were injured, one seriously, when their airboat crashed into an island during traning Monday night.
They had been on Beaver Dam Lake training for more than an hour when the airboat hit Grape Island, according to Wisconsin State Journal.
"Specifics related to injuries are not being released at this time nor are the names of the firefighters," according to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office statement on its Facebook page.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officers are handling the investigation.
