Snap-tite Hose Launches Program in Support of Pennsylvania Fire Departments
Snap-tite Hose announced the start of its new PA Proud Program, an effort to support equipment made in the Commonwealth while assisting Pennsylvania fire departments in evaluating, upgrading and saving on fire hose.
The initiative offers Pennsylvania departments a structured chance to test Snap-tite hose under actual working settings starting on April 1, 2026, while participating distributors get additional program benefits.
The program is a reflection of Snap-tite's overarching objective to assist Pennsylvania manufacturing while bolstering local fire service infrastructure.
“Our goal is simple and ambitious: 100 percent of the hose purchased within 25 miles of our factories should be Snap-tite Hose,” said James Novinsky, CEO of Snap-tite Hose. “Local departments deserve local manufacturing, local support, and real advantages for keeping their investment here in Pennsylvania.”
A number of advantages intended to facilitate assessment and procurement will be available to departments taking part in the PA Proud Program:
- Departments will be eligible for special PA Proud program pricing through their local Snap-tite distribution partner if they plan a live flow demonstration between April 1 and June 30, 2026.
- With assistance from the Snap-tite team, firefighters can test Snap-tite hose directly against the hose that is already in use, enabling departments to assess performance under actual operational situations.
- To help departments make the most of their purchasing budgets, orders over $5,000 will be eligible for free shipping anywhere in Pennsylvania.
- Additionally, participating departments will have access to official PA Proud materials that highlight their support for equipment made in Pennsylvania and American manufacturing.
Later this year, Snap-tite intends to have a PA Proud Factory Day Open House at its Erie manufacturing facility to commemorate the program's inception. Leaders of the Pennsylvania fire department will be given the opportunity to tour the factory and gain more knowledge about the design, testing, and production of hoses.
Additionally, Snap-tite is working with distributors, fire schools, and business partners around Pennsylvania to make sure that departments taking part in the initiative have easier access to quotes, procurement, and dealer assistance.
