CT Firefighter Burned in Apartment Fire

A Connecticut firefighter was injured while battling a blaze at a two-story apartment complex Tuesday.

New Haven crews responded to the fire just before 6:30 a.m., the department said. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they saw that flames had spread to both floors of the building, according to WNTH-TV.

The injured firefighter suffered burns to arms and was taken to the hospital. A woman was treated in an ambulance at the scene, but she wasn't taken to the hospital, the TV station reports.
