An automated sprinkler system in a Wyoming liquor store's employee housing doused a grease fire before it got out of control this week. Security camera video captured the brief incident.

The blaze broke out just after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in a 14,570 square foot building that housed Smith's Liquor store on the ground level and rooms for the store's workers on the second floor, an online update on the Facebook page for Jackson Hole Fire/EMS stated. One of the employees had been using the shared kitchen and had walked away from what he was cooking on the stove.

In about three minutes, flames burst from the pan. That's when the 155-degree sprinkler head deployed and extinguished the fire.

No one was hurt in the incident, and firefighters had cleaned up the water and restored the sprinkler system, the department said.
