Thermal fuse technology serves as a bi-directional valve shutting off the flow of oxygen during a fire. The device is placed inline between the nasal cannula and the supply tubing. A second device is placed at the discharge of the oxygen concentrator. These devices cost $4.50 and prevent secondary fire ignition associated with HOT fires.
