Three New York firefighters were injured while battling a residential blaze that broke out at two homes early Thursday.
Video footage from the scene shows Buffalo crews tackling the flames that started in the kitchen of one house before spreading to another residence, WKBW-TV reports. The fire displaced 11 residents and several animals and caused about $21,000 in damage.
One firefighter was taken to Erie County Medical Center for unspecified injuries, according to WKBW. Two other firefighters who suffered from exhaustion were evaluated at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
