Crews in more than a dozen rigs from multiple departments, including Sioux City and South Sioux City, responded to a fire that broke out in one of the vegetable tanks at a livestock feed company.

Firefighters from multiple departments put out a blaze that erupted at a livestock feed company Friday.

The fire started shortly after 4:30 p.m. at Sioux City's Feed Energy Company, the Sioux City Journal reports. It broke out in one of the plant's vegetable tanks, and none of the company's four employees who were working at the time were injured.

Crews in 13 rigs from the Sioux City, South Sioux City, Sergeant Bluff and 185th fire departments were called in to battle the flames. The cause of the blaze was under investigation, the Journal added.
