Houston firefighters quickly put out an early Wednesday home blaze but not before flames engulfed and destroyed the residence.
The fire erupted at about 1:45 a.m. in the 4600 block of Pickfair Street, OnSceneTV reports. Crews responding to the scene began trying to get the blaze under control, as well as evacuating nearby houses as a precuation.
Video of the incident shows firefighters dousing the flames with water and getting the blaze under control in about 10 minutes. That was enough time, however, for the fire to have destroyed the structure, according to OnSceneTV.
