The Chicago Fire Department is battling an extra alarm fire in several homes in the Logan Square neighborhood Tuesday morning.
ABC 7 reported that the fire broke out in the 2400-block of North Washtenaw Avenue.
Chopper 2 reported that three, two-story, wood-frame structures were burning.
Heavy fire could be seen coming from at least two of the three structures.
"It's blowing like a blowtorch out of that one building," said Chopper 2 reporter Kris Habermehl.
At one point, flames and smoke intensified, forcing firefighters off of one of the rooftops.
No injuries have been reported.
