More than 50 Los Angeles firefighters battled a fire that tore through a single-story home Wednesday night.
Crews responded to the call at a vacant residence in the Florence neighborhood, the department stated in an online post. As firefighters began trying to enter the home, flames shot through the roof and forced crews to take a defensive approach, according to OnScene TV.
Extensive storage in the house made it difficult to reach some of the fire, and 52 firefighters worked for less than 45 minutes to extinguish the flames. No injures were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
