A New Jersey firefighter was burned battling a two-alarm residential fire Wednesday.
The fire initially started at about 4:30 p.m. in a three-story house in Newark, the Essex Daily Voice reports. Flames also spread to another nearby multi-family home.
During the fire, a firefighter suffered second-degree burns to his neck. He was taken to the hospital, but no details were given concerning his condition.
