Fond du Lac firefighters and mutual-aid companies battled a massive blaze that destroyed one home and left two others damaged.
The initial fire appeared to have started on the porch as it was fully engulfed, according to a report by KFIZ 1450.
Heavy wind conditions helped to fan the fire and spread it to nearby exposures that were damaged by the extreme heat.
KFIZ 1450 reported a baby from a nearby home was transported to a local hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
Fire officials said two firefighters sustained minor injuries battling the blaze and were able to return to work. All occupants from the homes were able to escape safely.
