Fire engulfed a food factory in Porter County after workers thought they extinguished a small fire earlier in the day.
Firefighters were called to Festive Foods around 9 a.m. after workers tried to contain a fire near an air compressor, according to Fox11Online.com. The fire spread to the roof and then into another building sparking a massive, smoky blaze.
The factory made frozen pizzas and appetizers.
Dozens of firefighters from Plover, Rudolph, Stevens Point, Stockton and Waupaca responded to the scene, WSAW.com reported.
