Watch: FDNY FFs Battle 5-Alarm Fire that Injured 14

A five-alarm fire spread through a mixed-use building in Brooklyn leaving 14 people injured.

Eleven firefighters were among the many injured battling a five-alarm fire in a mixed-use Brooklyn building Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Williamsburg building just after 5:30 a.m. and found fire spreading through the multi-story building with a deli on the ground floor.

The fire spread throughout the building, according to News 12.

FDNY officials said 11 firefighters and three civilians were injured at the fire. Seven of the firefighters were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
