A fire destroyed two buildings in Beaver County and left several people, including firefighters, injured.
One of the buildings collapsed due to the blaze.
The assistant fire chief told Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that the injured firefighters have shoulder and ankle injuries.
Firefighters were using drones to check for hot spots when they noticed that part of one building was going to collapse and radioed to crews to get out.
“We don’t have to have people in there. We don’t have to have people close. We are up away from it. Everybody is out of the collapse zone, especially with a fire like this,” said Jim Suddelle, a drone operator for Monaca Fire Department.
