Three FDNY firefighters were injured battling house fires on Staten Island Saturday night.
The fire started on the first floor of a house, and quickly spread to two others, ABC7 reported.
No civilians were injured in the fire that started about 10 p.m. However, they cannot return to their homes.
"It could have been a lot worse, the buildings in the rear, there are four buildings in the rear where the siding is melted and a building on the left side of the original fire building where the siding is also melted," FDNY Chief Kevin Woods told reporters.
The firefighters are expected to be OK.
