Firefighters from the Sacramento Metro Fire and Sacramento Fire departments battled a fire in Rio Linda Friday night where several animals were rescued.
Crews reported two structures and several trailers were on fire when they first arrived, according to 911 Action Photography.
Residents and firefighters teamed up to rescue several horses and dogs as crew battled the intense fire.
Fire officials told CBS Sacramento that firefighters were able to save 20 horses and several dogs.
A dozer was requested to help firefighters hit hot spots.
