Galveston firefighters had their hands full Friday night with massive hotel blaze.
The fire caused extensive damage at the Inn of the Waterpark Hotel, KHOU reported.
The two guests staying at the hotel escaped safely while a firefighter suffered a minor injury.
Crews from Texas City, Jamaica Beach, Santa Fe, and Hitchcock were dispatched to assist.
It took about 90 minutes to get the flames under control. Part of the roof collapsed, and the second floor was damaged extensively.
Officials said the fire started in the attic.
The cause is still under investigation.
