Residents in a Lorton house managed to escape as a blaze consumed their home early Tuesday.
Fairfax County firefighters found heavy fire from all sides of the house.
Tankers had to shuttle water to the scene as there are no hydrants in the area, WUSA9 reported.
The cause is under investigation.
