Crews spent hours battling a fire at the Glacier Ice Company in Marysville Friday, and were hindered by unknown contents and water supply issues.
"As the hours passed, the fire basically progressed from one end of the building to the other," a fire captain told CBS Sacramento.
The fire was placed under control about nine hours after crews arrived.
The captain said they used millions of gallons of water to bring the blaze under control.
The heavy timber construction, coupled with pallets and unknown contents challenged firefighters throughout the day.
