A civilian was critically injured Wednesday morning when his vehicle collided with a D.C. ambulance.
After being extricated from the wreckage, the man was transported to a local trauma center, WRC reported.
Video of the crash shows the ambulance -- headed to an emergency -- on Georgia Avenue when a minivan going the opposite direction veered over and struck it.
The two D.C. EMT/firefighters were transported for a check-up.
