Two children perished in a Millersville house fire early Wednesday.
Millersville Fire Chief Brandon Head told News 2 reporters: “Our main priority was getting access to the victims. We were met with extremely heavy fire conditions. The roof had already partially collapsed and unfortunately, we weren’t able to make a successful rescue.”
Some residents including those in the other side of the duplex managed to get out.
The victims were Braiden Shane Myers, 10, and Bellamy Blake Myers, 4, officials said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
