After a thorough search of a New Jersey building by firefighters, no one was found.

There is speculation that squatters may have started the four-alarm fire in the former meat market to stay warm, ABC7 reported.

The building has been vacant for about 20 years, Orange Fire Chief Derrick Brown explained.

The cause is under investigation.
