More than 100 Philadelphia firefighters battled a two-alarm fire Monday.
Residents in two buildings were evacuated as the fire intensified, NBC10 reported.
No injuries were reported. Crews remained on the scene Monday night.
"Ladder 1 just got put back into service. They were first in the scene. Someone knocked on the door and said they had fire in the building here, so of course, we were here in 30 seconds," Deputy Fire Commissioner Derek Bowmer told reporters.
Crews used a drone to get a view of the fire's progress.
The cause remains under investigation Tuesday.
