Three children were rescued from a balcony by Texas City firefighters Wednesday morning.
They were checked out on the scene, and not injured, KHOU reported.
Texas City Fire Chief Micah Simons said firefighters were initially told people were trapped inside.
But, that wasn't the case. They saw the children on a balcony and brought them down a ladder.
The building was a total loss.
The cause is being investigated.
