No Injuries in Niagra Falls, NY, House Explosion

Firefighters found the house fully involved in fire when they entered the area.

A man moving into an apartment in a Niagra Falls home called the gas company after smelling an odor.

When he returned, the house was fully engulfed in fire and his second-floor apartment was full of debris from the collapsed roof and chimney, according to the Niagra Gazette. 

A woman and dog who live in first-floor apartment escaped without injury.

Firefighters encountered heavy fire from all sides. 

Houses on both sides of the structure were damaged.
