Apartment Fire in Ontario Claims Two Children, Adult

Hamilton Fire Chief Dave Cunliffe said firefighters who were met with heavy fire called for additional manpower to assist.

Two children and a man were killed in a Hamilton apartment fire Sunday morning.

Hamilton Fire Chief Dave Cunliffe told CHCH fire was 'blowtorchin' out of a first floor apartment.

Thirteen residents were transported for treatment. At least four were seriously injured.

More than 60 firefighters were involved in the three-alarm operation.

The cause remains under investigation.

Firefighters reported the man killed was not related to the children.
