MVA with Entrapment in Pikesville, Maryland

Shortly before 11 pm, on July 24th, Pikesville Volunteers Squad 322 (Baltimore County, MD) was alerted for Rescue Box 2-17 on Smith Avenue east of Greenspring Avenue. Engine 2 arrived and confirmed 1 vehicle vs. a BGE pole with heavy entrapment.

Under the direction of Captain Resnick, crews from Pikesville volunteers and the Pikesville and Randallstown career stations performed a lengthy extrication, including roof removal, on a Priority 1 male patient who was flown via MSP Trooper 1 to Shock Trauma.

Engine 321 set up the LZ for the Trooper in the Greenspring Shopping Center. A second patient was transported via Medic 325 to an area hospital.
