Two-Alarm Fire Burns Rochester, NY Building
A two-alarm fire destroyed a vacant building in Rochester around 2:30 a.m. on June 15. Crews were called to Bay St. and Siegel St. for smoke from a vacant apartment building. Dispatched were: Quint 7/Midi 7 Engine 16, Engine 17, Battalion 1, Rescue 11 and Engine 1 as the RIC.Engine 17 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the two-story, 20 by 40 building. The Protectives and deputy chief were dispatched as well.
