Sheldon, Texas Fire Truck Involved in MVA

At approximately 6:45 am, on the morning of April 21st, during the heavy storm system that came through the Sheldon/Channelview area, Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue Engine 13 was involved in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a reported house fire.

At approximately 6:45 am, on the morning of April 21st, during the heavy storm system that came through the Sheldon/Channelview area, Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue Engine 13 was involved in a motor vehicle accident while responding to a reported house fire.

During the height of the storm, heavy winds caused a large tree to fall and hit the responding engine.

The accident occurred just east of Van Hut on Tidwell Rd.

Fortunately, the three man crew escaped the incident unscathed.
