Conn. Firefighters Battle House Fire

On March 16th the Woodbury (CT) Fire Department was summoned to a house fire on Hoop Hole Hill Road.

On March 16th the Woodbury (CT) Fire Department was summoned to a house fire on Hoop Hole Hill Road.

Upon arrival, Chief David Bengston found a one story, wood frame house heavily involved.

Chief Bengston requested mutual aid from the Bethlehem, Southbury, and Watertown Fire Departments, as well as assistance from the Woodbury Ambulance and Connecticut State Police.

With no one home at the time, units mounted an exterior attack with the attack engine being fed by a tanker shuttle.

The fire is under investigation, and there were no injuries.
