Seattle Fire Department Responds to Motor Vehicle Accident with Entrapment
On Friday February 27, 2004 @ 11:04:07 PM the Seattle Fire Department responded to a two car MVA at the intersections of 19th Ave. W/W Emerson Place. Responding units E18, E20 & M18 found occupants trapped and requested L8 @ 11:08:35 PM for the Jaws of Life.
After successfully removing the occupant from the vehicle and placing him on a back-board the patient was loaded into the ambulance and further stabilized & then transported to the hospital.
The accident was under investigation by SPD and the road remained closed. Additional responding units were B4, M16, M44, A5, & SAFT 2.
