Texas Firefighters Respond to House Fire

Firefighters were dispatched Sunday Feb 29 at 10:29 to a single family structure fire. The address was two blocks from the first due station.

Upon leaving the station the call was upgraded to a working fire. Units checked out with a one story wood frame with heavy fire and smoke showing from the rear of the structure.

Arriving units made entry, but were forced out due to intense heat and fire. Residents were accounted for prior to entry. The house was a total loss.

Response was 1 ladder truck, 4 engines, 2 medics, 1 utility, and 2 chief officers.
