Stillwater, Okla. Bravest Battle Vehicle Fire

Stillwater firefighters were dispatched to the Circle D Motel after reports were received of flames coming from the building.

Stillwater firefighters from Stations 2 and 3 were dispatched to the Circle D Motel at 923 North Boomer Rd. after numerous reports were received at the 911 Center of flames coming from the building.

Pumper 2 was first on the scene and reported they had a working truck fire with the truck in very close proximity to the structure, The crew pulled a 1 3/4 inch line and attacked the fire. They were successful in keeping the fire from spreading to the building, but the truck was destroyed. Motel residents were temporarily evacuated, but were allowed to return as soon as the fire was extinguished.
