Fire Strikes San Jose Strip Mall

Units from the San Jose Fire Department responded to a structure fire in a strip mall at 2063 Camden Avenue, on Sunday, January 8, 2006.

The fire, in a vacant retail space that once housed a nail salon, proved stubborn enough to require a second alarm at approximately 2:47 pm, with additional apparatus and crews arriving to provide manpower.

There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire was under investigation at the time of this writing.
