Westfield Road Volunteer Fire Department Chief Leon Martin Sr. was laid to rest on November 8, 2005 in Northwest Harris County, Texas.
Chief Martin was well known in the fire service as Martin Apparatus where he sold Pierce Fire Trucks.
Chief Martin was a community leader and very instrumental in the establishment of several ESD districts.
Chief Martin will be missed very much. Fire departments, Fire Marshall's and Law Enforcement from all over Northwest Harris County attended the funeral.
Chief Martin was given full Fire Department Honors.
