These are photos taken of a three alarm fire that destroyed at least 6 houses in the 2400 of Broadway in the Southend of Toledo, Ohio.
The fire occured on the banks of the Maumee River.
Intense heat and wind coming off the river made firefighting conditions very difficult and caused emblems on the fire rigs to melt and reflective tape to burn.
Three firefighters were hospitalized for heat exhaustion and dehydration.
The cause of the fire is unknown and damage is estimated at over $1 million.
