Shortly after 10am, ALS and BLS were dispatched for a MVA at Route 70 and Springdale.
ALS arrived to find a car broadsided by a dump truck with the occupant in the car trapped.
A rescue assignment box was requested and dispatched.
Crews worked to remove the driver side front and rear door.
The roof was removed and the dashboard was displaced.
Crews freed the occupant around the 35 minute mark.
ALS and BLS transported the patient to Cooper Trauma.
The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
