Maybrook Firefighters Respond to Working House Fire in New York

At 11:54 pm on Tuesday June 7th, 2005, the Maybrook Fire Department was alerted for a structure fire on Neelytown Rd. opposite the Fed Ex terminal.

MONTGOMERY, NY - At 11:54 pm on Tuesday June 7th, 2005, the Maybrook Fire Department was alerted for a structure fire on Neelytown Rd. opposite the Fed Ex terminal.

Incident command (2nd Asst Chief Brian Dunn) arrived on scene and reported a working fire in an abandoned farm house at 192 Neelytown Rd and requested mutual aid from Campbell Hall, Montgomery & Coldenham to the scene.

Due to a narrow access road to the house only 1 Engine from Maybrook and the Tower Ladder from Coldenham were able to access the scene along with brush trucks from Maybrook & Montgomery. Due to the condition of the structure firefighters performed an exterior attack utilizing the master streams on Engine 215 and Tower 205.
