Child Hurt in Fla. Crash

  OCALA, Fla. -- Three adults and one child have been injured in a two-vehicle collision.The wreck resulted in one of the vehicles coming to a rest on its side, in the 3500 block of North Pine Avenue.Firefighters from Ocala Fire Rescue responded to the scene at 7:34 a.m. The child who received life-threatening injuries was treated by paramedics on scene and then transported to Shands Hospital by a helicopter.

OCALA, Fla. -- Three adults and one child have been injured in a two-vehicle collision.

The wreck resulted in one of the vehicles coming to a rest on its side, in the 3500 block of North Pine Avenue.

Firefighters from Ocala Fire Rescue responded to the scene at 7:34 a.m.

The child who received life-threatening injuries was treated by paramedics on scene and then transported to Shands Hospital by a helicopter.

Fire officials were told that the child was not restrained in a child or booster seat.
