Members of the Union Colony Fire/Rescue Authority in Greeley, Colorado recently trained in trench collapse rescue techniques utilizing new equipment and a designated Trench Collapse Trailer unit.
The equipment includes panels, air jacks, shoring, and misc. lumber to be used in the event of a trench collapse in Union Colony's area of responsibility.
The community is growing rapidly, bringing to the forefront the risk and possibility of this type of emergency in the numerous construction projects in the area.
