Maryland Firefighters Respond to Structure Fire
On Dec. 31 at approximately 1 p.m., Wicomico County Central alerted Station 9 (Mardela), Station 14 (Sharptown) and Station 5 (Hebron), for a structure fire on Sharptown Road in Mardela.
First arriving companies reported a working fire in a single story structure. Fire crews were able to quickly get the fire under control and begin overhaul.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal Office is investigating the cause.
