Flames forced firefighters out of the building
Sept. 25, 2007

Extreme heat and smoke drove Indiana firefighters battling a single story wood frame residential structure fire out of the building.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.

Firefighters from Terre Haute Fire Department were making their way back of the structure, where the fire was, when the heat intensified, forcing everyone out.

It took crews about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.

The fire was believed to be sparked by an arsonist.
