On Sunday afternoon June 6, 2004 around 4:30pm, Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in Northwest Harris County, Texas.
Engine 1 was the first pumper to arrive and found heavy fire from the back of a one story residence. Burglar bars were installed on the house which made access delayed and difficult. Fire crews had to use the jaws and cutters to cut open the burglar bars.
Crews from Ladder 10, Rescue 3, Jersey Village, and Engine 10 also assisted with the extinguishment.
Harris County arson was called in to investigate the fire which is under investigation.
